1. Vacuum pump oil tightness
The vacuum pump oil needs proper viscosity, the low temperature can make the vacuum pump start quickly, the vacuum pump oil can have good sealing performance at high temperature, and the temperature rise of the vacuum pump oil is low. Does not contain light volatile components, reducing the oil return rate of the vacuum pump.
2. Saturated vapor pressure of vacuum pump oil
One of the key indicators of saturated vapor pressure is vacuum pump oil. In a closed vessel at a constant temperature, the pressure of the vapor pressure reaches a dynamic equilibrium when saturated vapor-liquid.
The saturated vapor pressure of the oil should be as low as possible, and the maximum working temperature of the pump still has a sufficiently low saturated vapor pressure, which is lower than the ultimate pressure of the vacuum pump. A temperature of 60 degrees Celsius is at least 6.5 x kPa pure (saturated vapor pressure is about to drop by an order of magnitude due to an increase in air temperature of 20 degrees Celsius).
3. Vacuum pump oil, limit total pressure and limit partial pressure
Ultimate total pressure: Pirani gauges and thermocouple gauges measure the total pressure of the vacuum pump (gas) for all materials. Currently, the test emphasizes the total pressure index.
Limit partial pressure: Mercury compression vacuum gauge (McLeod pressure gauge) limit air to measure pump pressure, double rotary vane pump pressure should be less than 6 * 10-5kPa. The difference between total pressure and ultimate pressure is no more than an order of magnitude. The greater the difference between the two, the more volatile the vacuum pump oil contains, and the lower the properties of the oil.

4. Lubricity of vacuum pump oil
Friction wear, surface fatigue wear and corrosion wear, etc., related to the lubrication conditions. The good performance of vacuum pump oil is conducive to inhibiting corrosion and wear, it can effectively reduce surface adhesive wear and fatigue wear; the cleaning effect of liquid lubricant friction surface, but also can reduce friction and wear. Save energy, reduce frictional resistance, reduce wear, and extend the service life of machinery.
5. Cooling performance of vacuum pump oil
Reducing the temperature of the friction surfaces is an important lubricating effect. The friction surface movement must overcome the friction and work, the power consumption is in overcoming all the friction heat of the work, and the result will cause the friction surface temperature to rise. The magnitude of frictional heat is related to the state of lubrication, the large one with high viscosity, the lower one with lower viscosity, and the lower thermal boundary between the two. It can be seen that the vacuum pump oil with appropriate viscosity can not only achieve liquid lubrication and reduce the generation of frictional heat, but also can timely friction heat pump outside the body.
